A concentrate of summer in itself! I’m delighted to share with you today the release of ‘Sunset camisole‘, the new pattern designed by the talented @sari_n_ for Antigone.

Sari a choisi le coloris « mandarine » pour sa version et Céline a tricoté la sienne dans le coloris « lupin« . Le modèle est disponible en 9 tailles et vous aurez besoin de 2 à 4 pelotes d’Antigone pour tricoter le vôtre.
C’est un modèle qui convient particulièrement à l’aspect lisse et brillant d’Antigone, dont le drapé naturel donne un joli mouvement au grand volant qui fait le charme de ce modèle.

Sari has chosen the ‘Mandarine‘ colour for her version and Céline has knitted hers in the ‘Lupin‘ colour. The pattern is available in 9 sizes and you’ll need between 2 and 4 balls of Antigone to knit yours.
It’s a pattern that’s particularly suited to the smooth, shiny look of Antigone, whose natural drape gives a lovely movement to the large ruffle that makes this pattern so charming.
CONSTRUCTION
Le modèle est tricoté sans couture du haut vers le bas. On commence par tricoter les triangles du devant et du dos que l’on joint sous le dessous du bras. Le corps est tricoté en rond avec quelques augmentations sur les côtés pour lui donner une ligne légèrement évasée. L’ourlet est replié vers l’intérieur et cousu sur l’envers. Les bretelles sont réalisées avec une i-cord et jointes à l’aide d’un grafting. Enfin, des mailles sont relevées sur le devant pour le volant, qui est travaillé en aller-retour.
CHOISIR VOTRE TAILLE
Le modèle comporte 9 tailles correspondant aux mesures finales suivantes :
Tour de poitrine : 74.5 (85.5, 95, 103, 115) (125, 134, 144.5, 155)
Tour du bas du corps : 82 (93.5, 103, 110.5, 121.5) (132, 141, 151, 161) cm
Le modèle est prévu pour être porté avec peu d’aisance voire une aisance négative pour un effet très ajusté à la poitrine. La version photographiée dans le coloris « lupin » est portée par Céline avec une aisance positive de 2 cm au niveau de la poitrine.
Vous pourrez modifier la hauteur du bas du corps ainsi que la longueur des bretelles pour les ajuster à votre morphologie. Les quantités de laine du modèle ont été calculées pour une hauteur du bas du corps de 30 à 33 cm.
TECHNIQUES UTILISÉES ET NIVEAU DE DIFFICULTÉ
Ce modèle est d’un niveau intermédiaire et nécessitera de savoir monter des mailles (montage provisoire et montage tricoté) et rabattre des mailles, augmenter (augmentations barrées et augmentations intercalaires penchées à droites et à gauche) et diminuer, tricoter en rond, réaliser une bordure en i-cord, relever des mailles et réaliser un grafting.

CONSTRUCTION
The Sunset camisole is knitted seamlessly from the top down. The camisole is started by knitting the front and back triangles, which are joined at the underarm. The body is knitted in the round with a few increases on the sides to make it slightly A-line. The hem is folded double and sewn on the inside. The straps are made with i-cord and joined with grafting. Lastly, stitches are picked along the front for the frill, which is worked flat.
CHOOSE YOUR SIZE
The pattern has 9 sizes corresponding to the following final measurements:
Chest size: 74.5 (85.5, 95, 103, 115) (125, 134, 144.5, 155) cm / 29.5 (33.5, 37.5, 41.25, 45.25) (49.25, 53.25, 57, 61) inches
Circumference at hem: 82 (93.5, 103, 110.5, 121.5) (132, 141, 151, 161) cm / 32.25 (36.75, 40.5, 43.5, 47.75) (52, 55.5, 59.75, 63.5) inches
The pattern is intended to be worn with zero or slight negative ease around the bust. The version photographed in the ‘lupin’ colour is worn by Céline with 2 cm of positive bust support.
You can adjust the height of the lower body and the length of the straps to suit you. The wool quantity of the pattern has been calculated for a lower body height of 30 to 33 cm.
TECHNIQUES USED AND LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY
This pattern is at an intermediate level and will require the ability to cast on (provisional cast on and cable cast on) and cast off, increase and decrease, knit in the round, pick stitches, knit an i-cord and join with grafting.
The pattern includes detailed explanations for the specific techniques used to make this pattern, such as creating buttonholes and German short rows.
