I am very happy to share with you the release of “Ringell” , the new pattern by the German designer @trin_annelie created for Ulysse!
Anne imagined this pretty jumper as a gift to herself with a scoop neckline to breathe comfortably, a feminine and comfortable cut, a graceful and creative play of colours and this asymmetrical border detail which gives it the perfect modern touch 🙂
Written with great attention to detail and with all body types in mind, the explanations are accompanied by extensive advices on how to adjust the pattern to your size and a blank pattern sheet to try and choose your perfect colour scheme.
Ringell is worked in the round from the top down, starting with the yoke. Short rows are used to lower the front and make a more comfortable fit at the neckline. Once yoke colorwork and shaping are completed, the work is separated into body and sleeves. Both are finished in a colorwork stripe
pattern worked in the round. With its light, foamy texture and small fibres that cling together to create a beautiful fused pattern, Ulysses will be the perfect companion for this new adventure!
“Ringell” is a fine example of the designer’s classic, polished style and her love of subtle, harmonious colour schemes. The delicate three-colour pattern of the yoke, which is here declined in stripes to punctuate the body and the sleeves, gives a cheerful little sailor look.
