In the back-to-school fun we can’t wait to share with you, there’s this oh-so-beautiful Autumn issue from our London friends @pompommag and this magical cover in Pénélope “ocre”!
For this autumn issue, the PomPom team drew inspiration from the idea of abundance. The result is 11 beautiful, visually impactful patterns that are pleasing to the eye as well as the touch, echoing the intricate aesthetic of the Arts and Crafts movement. The patterns are fascinating, romantic and somehow embody the wonderful generosity that emerges from the act of making.
In this issue you will find patterns from:
EDDA LILJA // ELENA DIMCHEVSKA // EMMA DUCHER // EMMA JANET // ERICA SUFKA // FRAN LÓPEZ // LUCIA LUCIANO // MARIA WALTERS // OLIVIA SCZEPANIK // WEICHIEN CHAN (THEPETITEKNITTER) // YUCCA
This autumn collection also features an article by anti-fast fashion figure Aja Barber, who encourages us to think more about the clothes we associate with our handmade items.
Spend a golden autumn afternoon reading our interview with embroidery extraordinaire, Tessa Perlow, and using Ella Hawkins’ biscuit decorating tutorial to make confectionery which looks like your knitting.
