I am delighted to present today the four new colours that will bring their shades and warmth to the Bérénice palette this autumn!
Welcome to: ‘darjeeling’, ‘merlot‘, ‘or rose’ and ‘amarante’ 🙂

Our Bérénice yarn (55% RMS-certified Super Kid Mohair, 25% silk, 20% organic Arles merino wool, 210m/25g) can be knitted single, doubled, or combined with another yarn to add a touch of softness and lightness and create new colour shades.

Darjeeling is a soft golden brown with a hint of warm green, which will match tone-on-tone with the ‘darjeeling’ colour in Ulysse and Gilliatt and can be paired with a slight mottled effect, with Antigone ‘mordoré’ and Albertine and Pénélope ‘ocre’ or knitted double with Bérénice “doré” or ‘caramel’.
Merlot is a dark, sensual wine red that will match perfectly with the ‘merlot’ colour in Ulysse, Gilliatt and Cyrano and can be paired with a slight mottled effect, with Antigone ‘dahlia’ or ‘fève tonka’ and Albertine and Pénélope “prune” or knitted double with Bérénice ‘prune’.
Or rose is a very delicate, warm medium orange-pink that will match tone-on-tone with the ‘or rose’ colour of Albertine and Pénélope. It can also be paired with a slightly pinker shade, such as the ‘argile’ colour in Ulysse, Gilliatt and Cyrano, or a more mottled effect with Antigone ‘macaron’ or “biscuit” and Candide or Robinson ‘pêche melba’. In the Bérénice palette, you can also create depth effects by knitting it double with Bérénice ‘argile’, “tutu” or ‘avoine’ for example.
Amarante is a warm, deep, muted pinkish brown that will match tone-on-tone with the ‘amarante’ colour in Ulysse and Gilliatt and can be paired with a slight mottled effect, with Antigone ‘marsala’ and Albertine and Pénélope “prune” or ‘badiane’. It can also be knitted in double with Bérénice ‘badiane’ or ‘prune’.

I hope you like these new colours and that they inspire you to enjoy the shades of autumn on your needles!
