Amirisu is a beautiful contemporary Japanese knitting magazine with a clean and subtly sophisticated aesthetic that we are very pleased to welcome to our selection of books and magazines.
For this winter issue, each designer was asked to imagine a model inspired by her favourite film or series and the result is particularly inspiring!
In this issue you will find twelve knitting patterns including seven jumpers, three cardigans, one shawl and one collar created by : Véronik Avery / Helga Isager / Keiko Kikuno / Sari Nordlund / Paula Pereira / Rievive / Nataliya Sinelshchikova / Orlane Sucche / Dianna Walla / yamagara / amirisu.
In this issue, you can discover the lovely “Hawkins” jumper designed by Nataliya Sinelshchikova in Ulysse. The mix of cables and stripes and its short and boxy cut gives it a very modern look mixed with a touch of nostalgia that we love !
It is knitted seamlessly from top to bottom, starting cleverly at the back of the neckline.
It is photographed here in the colours “brouillard” and “iroise” (which we expect in a month’s time). In the meantime, we have sampled two other versions that we also like very much in “baleine bleue” / “darjeeling” and “goéland“/ “bouleau” 🙂
Sweater Hawkins by Nataliya Sinelshchikova in Ulysse (taille XS to 5XL), 4 to 8 skeins for Main Color (here in “brouillard”) and 2 to 4 skeins for Constrating Color (here in “iroise”)
You can find the magazine in the shop:
I hope the new magazine will inspire you!
