Two designs in Antigone and Gilliatt in the Making Stories issue 11 !

The days that are gradually getting longer remind us that in the heart of winter, spring is on its way, and this eleventh issue of Making Stories magazine invites us to turn to the sea and its promise of freedom. Captured in the light of the shores of the Baltic Sea, this collection features twelve modern, easy-to-live-with knitting patterns for fine days and cool evenings. They present varying levels of difficulty, and each in its own way plays with stitches and textures, exploring a beautiful palette of knitting techniques. A mine of inspiration and the promise of hours of creative fun!

The patterns of this issue have been designed by:

Audrey Borrego, Imke von Nathusius, Jenn Lampen, Jule Kebelmann, Katrine Birkenwasser, Lindsey Fowler, Louisa Gauge, Marina Skua, Natalia Milas, Regina Wimmer, Sidney Rakotoarivelo, and Tania Dejoie

We were lucky enough to collaborate once again with the team behind this committed and endearing magazine, and in this issue you’ll find two patterns made in our yarns:

The first one is Jule Kebelmann’s “Making Waves” sweater, knitted in Gilliatt “argile”: a beautiful sweater with a rounded yoke that features a lovely play of patterns alternating textured stitches, slipped stitches and very graphic lines created by casting off and then picking up stitches on the cast off row. It is knitted seamlessly from the neckline.

Pattern: « Making Waves » by Jule Kebelmann, available in English in Making Stories 11 in 10 sizes.
