Emma and Nathalie, who initiated and lead the organisation of Knit eat, are also talented designers and for this second edition they have concocted a book with a resolutely pop and retro design inspired by the 60s and full of refreshing fantasy.
Spring 2020, between two confinements: the Knit Eat team goes to get some fresh air and inspiration in the Camargue. They stay at Les Cabanettes, a real trip back to the 60s, and pencil in their ideas for the Knit Eat Book 2.
Was it the Cabanettes or the fact of finally being together that set her imagination in motion? Probably both, but the ideas flowed, the sketches piled up, and the colours came out!
The context that we all know and the uncertainty that hangs over us encouraged the team to work together for an indefinite and indeterminate time.
This volume 2 is pop and colourful, including 6 themes directly inspired by the style and colours of the Cabanettes. 18 patterns to knit, including 12 in children’s sizes.
They have chosen our Ulysse yarn to explore the super cool theme of “cabanettes” and offer a mini collection of sleeveless jumpers and cardigans in a softly sparkling palette.
The patterns and recipes in the book are available in French and English.
The Cabanettes sleeveless cardigan is available in children’s sizes from 2 to 10 years (2 balls for the main colour and 1 ball for each contrasting colour) and adult sizes from XS to 5XL (2 to 5 balls for the main colour and 1 to 2 balls for each contrasting colour).
The Cabanettes sleeveless jumper is available in adult sizes XS to 5XL (4 to 8 balls for the main colour and 1 ball for each contrasting colour).
The Cabanettes hat is available in three sizes (child, teenager and adult): to knit it, you will need 1 ball for the main colour, 1 ball or 40 m for the contrasting colour 1 and 1 ball or 20 m for each of the 4 other constant colours.
