Focus on the “avoine” color (Albertine and Pénélope)

Avoine” (oatmeal) is pale beige with a very slight hint of pink. It is a neutral and serene colour that easily works with many other colours in the palette to create soft contrasts. 


For example, we used it as the main colour with “belle étoile” in the contrasting colour for our version of Anna Dervout’s “Clovelly” marinière from her latest book “Tricoter en couleurs” and we really liked the result 🙂


The new “avoine“(oatmeal) colour next to the lighter neutrals in the palette (photo 1), the warm browns and greys (photos 2, 3 and 4), and the various pinks (5 and 6).
