Combination ideas for knitting Tomomi’s “Alyssum sweater” with Ulysse

Thank you for your orders of @shimashima428‘s “Alyssum sweater”. We’re so glad you like it and can’t wait to see your pretty floral sweaters!

The pattern was created for a DK/worsted yarn but Tomomi was keen to explore the pattern’s potential and knitted two versions in Ulysse for a lighter result, smaller flowers and final measurements with a little less positive ease possible.

Her version in Ulysse “potimarron” and “poivre et sel” was knitted in size XL-2XL with the main chart:

Tomomi worked on a second version using bonus chart 3, which allows flowers to be added to the bottom of the pattern and the body hem to be knitted in the contrasting color. She knitted this version in Ulysse “bois de rose” and “bouleau” in size M/L for a slightly closer-fitting result:

We’ve sampled a few other color combination ideas:

1 : Main color: « clématite » / contrasting color: « poivre blanc »:

2 : Main color: « érable » / contrasting color: « bruyère »:
