A new “Figue” color for Albertine and Pénélope!

Many of you have been asking us for more shades of purple in our worsted spun range, and I’m happy to announce the arrival of ‘figue’ in our pretty Albertine and Pénélope yarns!

‘Figue’ is a slightly bluish dark purple, subtle and elegant yet easy to wear. The small touch of silk in these two yarns gives it a discreetly nuanced look that adds to the depth of the colour and brings it to life.

The new colorway “figue” in Albertine (worsted fingering yarn, 200 m /50 g, 90 % organic Merinos d’Arles (France) / 10 % mulberry silk (China)). The sample with a lace motif has been knitted in 3.5mm needles.

The new colorway “figue” in Pénélope (DK worsted yarn, 133 m /50 g, 90 % organic Merinos d’Arles (France) / 10 % mulberry silk (China)). The sample knitted in “champ fleuri” has been knitted in 4mm needles.

And for mohair fans, you can combine it with a strand of Bérénice ‘figue” for a perfect cosy, precious tone-on-tone look 🙂

Albertine and Pénélope are very soft, round and regular yarns. Arles merino gives them great elasticity, and worsted spinning accentuates stitch definition to create patterns that stand out perfectly.
