More and more of you are asking us how to combine Bérénice with our other yarns, so I wanted to brighten up the grey January days with a few vibrant additions to offer you some new possibilities!
Welcome to “bouleau“, “lilas“, “clématite“, “jardin“, “crème anglaise” and “pêche dorée“, which I have chosen especially for this time of year when we are so happy to be knitting in the warmth but when dreams of spring are gradually emerging 🙂

These colours are designed to bridge the gap between our different ranges of yarns, allowing you to have fun exploring different combinations of materials. For example, you could pair Bérénice “crème anglaise” with the “crème anglaise” colour from Ulysse and Gilliatt, Alice’s “primevère” colour, or Candide and Robinson’s “citronnade” colour to create a beautiful palette of shades and textures.

Bérénice “bouleau” is a very light, slightly cool grey. It can be knitted tone-on-tone in combination with Ulysse and Gilliatt “bouleau”, in a mottled blend with Albertine and Pénélope “orgeat”, and in a more nuanced mottled blend with Antigone “lune”.

Bérénice “lilas” is a very bright, slightly silvery purple. It can be knitted tone-on-tone in combination with Antigone “lilas”, and in a mottled blend with Ulysse and Gilliatt “bruyère”.

Bérénice “clématite” is an intense, magnetic dark purple. It can be knitted tone-on-tone in combination with Ulysse and Gilliatt “clématite” and in a mottled blend with Alice “gentiane”. It will add a beautiful depth to Antigone’s “lupin” colour.

Bérénice “jardin” is a warm, energetic green that evokes the beneficial vitality of a garden in spring. It can be knitted tone-on-tone in combination with Antigone “jardin”, in a mottled blend with Alice “fougère”, and will add depth to the “printemps” colours of Ulysse and Gilliatt.

Bérénice “crème anglaise” is a very soft light yellow. It can be knitted tone-on-tone in double with Ulysse and Gilliatt “crème anglaise” and Alice “primevère”, in a very subtle mottled effect with Candide and Robinson “citronnade”, and can be combined with the “crème” colour of Albertine and Pénélope to create a pale light yellow with a slight mottled effect.

Bérénice “pêche dorée” is a delicate and cheerful pinkish orange. It can be knitted tone-on-tone in combination with Antigone “pêche dorée”, in a very subtle mottled effect with Albertine and Pénélope “aurore”, and will add intensity to the “pêche Melba” colour of Candide and Robinson.

I hope you like these new colours and that they inspire you to play around with shades and textures!
