The editors of the beautiful Japanese magazine Amirisu invite us to welcome this autumn-winter season enveloped in the beauty and richness of music.
In this new issue, we find their elegant and singular universe embodied in twelve modern and inspiring knitting patterns by designers Ainur Berkimbayeva, Alice Caetano, Alma Bali, Cecilia Flori, Derako, Eri Shimizu, Keiko Kikuno, Megumi Sawada, Mizuho Komiya, Rachel Illsley and Rievive.

You will also find in this issue a conversation with two of Amirisu favorite creators, Julie Weisenberger of Cocoknits and Cassandra Harada of Harada Wool, about the businesses they have developed and their visions for the future.
Plus, an interview with beadwork artist Madison Holler, a project from Lori Ann Graham, two sewing projects (a machine-quilted project bag and a tea cozy with details any wool lover will enjoy), and much more.

We were lucky enough to be able to collaborate on this issue with our precious worsted spun yarn Albertine , which designer Rievive (@kouvive) chose in the colour “chocolat chaud” to knit the “Swingin’Shirt” jumper. For this issue, she has designed a comfortable, feminine jumper with a host of precious details: rice-stitch gathered cuffs, a wide neckline with a delicate drop fastening and a pretty cut-out back:

Pattern: “Sweater Swingin’ Shirt” by Rievive, available in 8 sizes and published in English in Amirisu issue 27
Yarn: Albertine De Rerum Natura, 7 to 11 skeins, pictured in the colorway chocolat chaud
