SKILLS LEVEL: intermediate (3/5)
This stitch presents no particular difficulty once you’ve mastered the decreases and yarn overs, and is easy to remember once you’ve memorized the first few rows.
SOME IDEAS FOR USE:
It can be used as the main motif or on just a few repeats, as a border or to create a panel for projects that take advantage of its lightness and transparency.
TECHNICAL INFOS:
Our sample was knitted in Antigone “lilas” with 3 mm needles on 32 stitches and 60 rows, i.e. 3 repeats of the pattern in width + 2 selvedges knitted stitches and 5 full repeats in height.
This corresponds to a swatch of 24 m x 34 rows for a 10 cm x 10 cm square knitted with the same tension and a weight of approximately 0.6 g/cm2.
