Alice’s colour range is expanding!

I’m delighted to present today the 10 new colours that will enrich and add nuance to the colour chart of our latest yarn, which blends organic Arles merino and extra-fine linen 🙂

‘Moisson (harvest)’, ‘Ondine (water nymph)’, ‘Rivière (river)’, “Basalte (basalt)”, “Ricochet (pebble bounce)”, “Crème Brûlée”, “Châtaigne (chestnut)”, “Hortensia (hydrangea)”, “Pêcher (peach tree)” and “Abricot (apricot)” have been chosen to evoke the sensory and contemplative pleasures of sunny days and to inspire cherished projects that will see you through the seasons.

‘Moisson (harvest)’ is a sunny yellow, bright without being too vivid, evoking golden haystacks and the warmth of summer.

‘Ondine (water nymph)’ is a refreshing, slightly versatile bluish-green with hints of linen appearing here and there.

“Rivière (river)” is a deep, more distinctly mottled blue-green, inspired by the shimmering, mysterious beauty of a river beneath the trees.

“Ricochet (pebble rebound)” is a light grey with a soothing neutrality that evokes small pebbles polished by the river’s flow.

“Basalte (basalt)” is a darker grey, warmed by the greige tones of linen that give it a nice depth.

‘Abricot (Apricot)’ is a soft orange shade that evokes the velvety skin of summer fruits.

‘Pêcher (Peach tree)’ is a tender, slightly warm pink inspired by the petals of peach blossoms as they begin to fade in early spring.

“Hortensia (Hydrangea)” is a pink-violet shade flecked with greige, delicate and slightly muted, reminiscent of the changing colours of hydrangeas as they fade so beautifully.

“Châtaigne (Chestnut)” is a light brown softened by a very subtle hint of pink. It is a beautiful neutral shade that is easy to coordinate, reminiscent of the indulgence of pots of chestnut jam!

Finally, “Crème brûlée” is a warm medium brown, with a slight yellowish tinge. In this deeper shade, the greige hue of the linen fibres is more visible and creates a lovely mottled effect.

I hope these new colours will make you want to make the most of the lovely month of May to knit soft, shimmering stitches!

Thank you for your support, which brings these yarns to life! 💛
