We were lucky enough to be featured in the summer issue of Laine Magazine @laine_magazine titled “Damson” !
This issue features 15 beautiful knits well-suited for warmer seasons. The patterns are worked in a variety of techniques, from intricate cables and modern openwork to cosy brioche and meditative stockinette stitch. The photos capture the spirit of lazy, lingering summer days in the garden. The photoshoot drew inspiration from the movie The Hours, particularly the effortless style of Clarissa Vaughan, portrayed by Meryl Streep, as well the beauty of the English countryside, which serves as the backdrop for one of the film’s storylines.
Designers featured in this issue: Pauline Fanguin, Joanna Filip, Saysha Greene, Kaori Katsurada, Marija Korać, Sarianna Lehtonen, Sara Markkula, Paula Narkiniemi, Sari Nordlund, Anne-Sophie Nørby Velling, Serena Qiu, Camille Romano, Lis Smith.

Among the 15 patterns featured in this issue 29, you’ll find the little lace top “Shell song” created by Sari Nordlund @sari_n_. Sari chose our Candide yarn – a blend of Arles Merino and recycled cotton dyed with natural pigments – in the delicate bluish mauve shade of “muscari”.

Pattern: « Shell song » by Sari Nordlund, published in the Laine Magazine 29, in 9 sizes (in english)
The Shell Song tee is inspired by the gentle rhythm of the sea, with flowing cables and delicate lace that evoke the patterns of seashells and ocean waves. It is knitted in the round from top to bottom with European-style armholes and a lovely lace pattern worked across the front and short sleeves.
Yarn used:
4 (5, 5, 5, 6) (6, 7, 8, 8) balls of Candide by De Rerum Natura (70% organic Merino d’Arles, 28% recycled cotton, 2% other recycled fibres, 202 yds / 185 m – 50 g), in the colourway “muscari”.
Or approx. 745 (820, 900, 995, 1095) (1205, 1325, 1455, 1600) yds / 680 (750, 820, 910, 1000) (1100, 1210, 1330, 1460) m of sport-weight yarn.
